As a hydraulic JOCKEY WHEEL
and JACK
Trail-A-Mate
fits to most caravans whether it slots through the front
part of the chassis or is attached by a sideways opening
clamp.
When
disaster strikes and you get a puncture, it is usually
always either:
When you’re
in a hurry
When the weather is bad.
On a busy
or narrow road
Late for your rally or appointment
When going to catch a ferry
When abroad
In the dark
Do not panic, Trail-A-Mate will change
your wheel with you.
Just by replacing
the jockey wheel with the base plate, and then attaching
the lifting bracket you will be on your way in no time safe
and sound. No need to wait for help.
How does Trail-A-Mate work & where does it fit?
Two brackets
have been attached to the chassis of your caravan or
motorhome, one on either side just behind the wheels.
Existing
holes in the chassis are used so there is no need for
further drilling or altering the chassis in any way.
A small rod runs
under the van and this is also attached to the existing
holes.
All you have
to do is place Trail-A-Mate into position against the
bracket and jack the handle, Trail-A-Mate will do the
rest and take the stress and strain out of the job for
you.
A small aperture is required in the skirting below the floor level to connect the lifting clamp and the bracket.
When being
used as a jack, the base plate is fitted instead
of the jockey wheel and the lifting clamp is attached
to the outer tube.
